Pastor Richard Milbrandt

Pastor Richard W. Milbrandt was born on October 13, 1963 in Aberdeen, SD.  He was baptized on November 3, 1963 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, SD.  He was confirmed on May 29, 1977 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Billings, MT.

 

Pastor Milbrandt graduated from Concordia Teachers College (now known as Concordia University) in Seward, NE in 1985.  He graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN in 1989.  He spent his vicarage year in Fort Dodge, IA at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in 1987-1988.

 

Pastor Milbrandt has served congregations in Kansas, Montana, and South Dakota since he graduated from seminary in 1989.  He was united in marriage to Mary at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge on June 29, 2001.  He has served as pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plankinton, SD and Trinity Lutheran Church in White Lake, SD for the past 15 years before accepting the call to serve the Tri-Parish of St. Peter Lutheran, Zion Lutheran, and St. John Lutheran of Ocheyedan and May City, IA.  Pastor Milbrandt was installed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan to serve the Tri-Parish on November 5, 2017.
